Current Administrative Fines Amounts within the Scope of KVKK 2021
The increase rate of administrative fines imposed pursuant to Article 18 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 was published in the Official Gazette and determined as 9.11% for 2020.
Pursuant to Article 18 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, the rate of increase in administrative fines was published in the Official Gazette and determined as 9.11% for 2020.
Accordingly, the administrative fines to be applied in 2021 are shown below

Breach of disclosure obligation 9.834 TL – 196.686 TL
Failure to fulfil obligations regarding data security 29.503 TL – 1.966.862 TL
Opposition to the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board 49.172 TL – 1.966.862 TL
Violation of the obligation to register and notify the Data Controllers Registry 39.337 TL – 1.966.862 TL
